The world’s largest game jam is gearing up to shower us in video games next Friday as more than 485 sites around the world prepare to turn into hubs of creativity and experimentation. The 48-hour jam will take place around a theme (or possibly multiple themes) that will be announced at 5 pm on Friday evening at each site’s local time. Instead of registering as teams, participants register as individuals and split into groups based on pitches made on the spot.
India is set to have multiple jam sites, three of which are already accepting registrations – two in Bangalore and one in Pune. Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad will also see sites going up in the next week. The Game Scrawl is going to be at one of the Bangalore sites (Dhruva Interactive) to cover the jam, so stay tuned for updates!
You can get more information about the jam and register for it at their website. The jam sites have limited space, so if you plan on registering then get to it!
